Just another day
Fighting for my
Life
Hurting on the
Inside but smiling
To hide the pain
Struggling to stay
Above the waves
Feeling myself
Slipping away
Fighting every day
Not to fade
Away out of
Sight
Clawing and Scratching
Out of the pit
I made
Resting and Relaxing
Not allowed
Exhausted
From the effort
Just to stay
Alive
Nights are torture
Silently screaming
In the dark abyss
No relief in sight
To wipe the sting
And anguish away
Don’t want to
Let go but
The pain is
Heavy on
My shattered
Mind
This is not
The end
Just another day
Inside of my
Broken soul
